| SIFE Team Wins at Regional |
The CSU-Pueblo SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) Team returned to Pueblo as winners after participating in the Denver, CO SIFE USA Regional Competition on March 27, 2007. The event was one of 17 SIFE USA Regional Competitions being held across the United States in March and April.
After presenting a report of their year-long community outreach projects to a panel of business leaders, the CSU-Pueblo SIFE team was named a SIFE USA Regional Champion. The team will now advance to the national level of SIFE competition, at the SIFE USA National Exposition May 6-8 in Dallas, Texas. More than 60 Fortune 500 firms will be on hand to recruit students from the SIFE teams presenting at the National Exposition. (full story)

| Summer Business Academy |
| Co-sponsored by the Hasan School of Business, the Boys & Girls Club/Girl Inc. of Pueblo County & the Lower Arkansas and Little Caesars, the SBA is a three-day-long residential camp (June 10-13, 2007) for middle school students, who will learn more about their personality types through the Myer-Briggs test; try their hand at building their own business and compete against other teams to see how their team's business stacks up; visit local businesses, namely Texas Roadhouse and Atlas Pacific; experience college life by living in the dorms for three days and dining in the cafeteria; make new friends with their fellow SBA participants; and, most importantly, have lots of fun.
