Computer Information Systems

Non-CIS majors who wish to minor in CIS have several options. They may select a minor in Computer Security, or they may build their own minor based on the completing of seven core courses and one of four separate tracks. Students must complete a minimum of six credits of upper division CIS courses.

Computer Security Minor

The computer security minor prepares the graduate for positions in the IT security field, including IT security specialist and IT security administrator. A minor extends training in the profession to majors in a variety of fields.
